Now in its 14th year, the Campaign for Working Families, Inc. (CWFI) continues to help working families and individuals achieve economic empowerment by providing free tax preparation, financial literacy and resource building services.  This allows our customers to maximize federal and state tax credits without paying sky-high fees for tax preparation, while planning for a more stable financial future.

CWFI operates community-based tax sites offering e-file, direct deposit, savings bonds, and public benefit screening to help clients save money. Additionally, CWFI refers clients to partner organizations that offer banking and credit counseling.

 

CWFI services are available to low-to-moderate income families and individuals that fall within the IRS guidelines.  Tax sites are open late January through mid-April; selected sites offer extended tax season hours.
